We had the honour of hosting a courtesy visit from the Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force, Lt‑Gen Joseph Shikongo, accompanied by members of his management team, as well as the Namibian Navy, represented by Rear Admiral (Junior Grade) Erastus Lazarus on behalf of Real Admiral Sacheus Randy !Gonteb. They were warmly received by our Chief Executive Officer, Willy Mertens, Chief Operating Officer, Maenge Shipiki‑Kali, and Security Manager, Francois Opperman. The engagement provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional relations, enhance mutual understanding of our operational environment, and explore areas of continued cooperation and support.

The Debmarine Namibia team expressed deep appreciation for the steadfast presence and support of the Namibian Police Force and Navy. An insightful presentation highlighted our role as custodians of Namibia’s natural resources and our unwavering commitment to safeguarding both assets and personnel. Lt‑Gen Shikongo and Rear Admiral (Junior Grade) Lazarus reaffirmed the dedication of the Police Force and the Namibian Navy to protecting Namibia’s strategic resources, emphasising that operational success and sustainability depend on strong cooperation within the security cluster, where both institutions remain ever ready to serve and protect.
