The coastal town of Lüderitz in the //Kharas region was abuzz with excitement as it hosted the Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia pageants for the first time in history. This significant event marked a milestone for the town, bringing the glamour and prestige of these national pageants to the shores of Lüderitz.
Prisca Anyolo emerged as the new Miss Namibia 2024, impressing the judges and the audience with her poise, intelligence, and charisma. Leena Mugena was named the first runner-up, while Georgia Garises took the second runner-up position. Garises also received the Miss Congeniality title, a testament to her warm and friendly demeanor throughout the competition. Other notable awards included Hazel !Garus-Oas winning Miss Public Choice and Preclina Sagarias being named Miss Photogenic, each highlighting the diverse talents and beauty of Namibia’s young women.
This year’s pageant also celebrates two years of Debmarine Namibia’s Platinum sponsorship, contributing a substantial N$2.5 million to the Miss Namibia organization.
